Rahul Gandhi Reacts On Being Called ‘Pappu’

Recently, the ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra, the 150-day Unite India March, reached Delhi and Rahul Gandhi delivered a speech from the Red Fort. Lately, his Padayatra Protest has met with massive criticism. However, despite going through all the smear social campaigns, the journey has been unstoppable.

Celebrities, influencers, and prominent names such as former RBI governor Raghuram Rajan also joined the Bharat Jodo Yatra.

But an interesting thing happened when Rahul Gandhi reacted to being called ‘Pappu.’

Netizens gave him this name as he was subjected to a lot of memes targeting his IQ. Some videos went viral on social media in which he depicted his absent-mindedness and became the target of trolls and memes. Users started calling him Pappu.

Rahul Gandhi took out his mobile phone and handed over it to the host present there. Rahul then asked the host to give the mobile back to him. When he tried giving the mobile back, Rahul refused to receive it. Refusing to take the mobile, he says ‘I don’t have to take it’. He was trying to explain that he doesn’t hate anyone and even if you abuse him or thrash him, he won’t hate you. Rahul further says that he welcomes all the abuses. He says,

aur naam do mujhe, mujhe fark nahi padta.”
