Recently, flabbergasting half-centuries by Suryakumar Yadav and Cameron Green went in vain as a magnificent final over by Arshdeep Singh turned the events of the game and took away victory from MI in a high-scoring thriller at the Wankhede stadium.
Arshdeep gave his 200 percent as he produced a match-winning spell to guide Punjab Kings to their fourth win of the ongoing 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League.
In the last over, Arshdeep broke the LED middle stump not once but twice
Mumbai Indians needed 16 off the final over and Arshdeep gave just two runs and shattered the stumps of Tilak Varma and Nehal Wadhera and led his team Punjab Kings to a remarkable win.
On the 3rd ball of the last over, Arshdeep Singh got the wicket of Tilak Varma(3) and demolished his middle stump to get rid of the Mumbai Indians’ batter. He repeated the same trick on the very next ball to dismiss Nehal Wadhera (0) and it was a hat trick. Both times, the middle stump got broke costing IPL management a big amount!
Punjab Kings tried to troll Mumbai Indians
Later, after the match, PBKS took to their social media and tried to troll Mumbai Indians with a hilarious post. PBKS tagged Mumbai police while sharing the images of the broken stumps and wrote,
“Hey @MumbaiPolice, we’d like to report a crime. ”

The Mumbai Police known for their hilarious and witty posts on social media were quick to notice PBKS’ tweet and come up with an epic reply to it. Mumbai Police wrote:
“Action is most likely to be taken on breaking the law, not stumps!”
