They expressed their protest, highlighting that they had traveled from Pakistan to support their team competing against Australia in the match. They further questioned why Indian fans were allowed to chant ‘Jai Shree Ram’ while they were being discouraged from saying “Pakistan Zindabad.”
Posting the video, Momin Saqib tweeted:
“It’s shocking and upsetting to see that people are being stopped from cheering “Pakistan Zindabad” at the game. This totally goes against what the sport is about!”
