As we all know, Train travel is one of the most popular and convenient modes of transportation that has been around for more than a hundred years. It is undoubtedly the best way to explore new destinations, experience scenic routes, and meet new people.
Traveling on a train can be an exciting experience. However, encountering weird passengers can make the journey uncomfortable. There are numerous weird passengers from someone who talks loudly to someone who depicts erratic behavior.
While most of the time these instances can be ignored easily, a few instances shouldn’t be ignored at any cost.
An incident recently happened on a train that will blow your mind.
A passenger shared a video of a lady consuming marijuana and cigarettes inside the train on Twitter.
During the Tatanagar-Katihar route, a passenger raised his concern and unhappiness and tweeted that the woman had spent the entire night using “marijuana and smokes” before boarding the train at Asansol.
Take a look at the video below.

Just in a few minutes, the video went viral on various social media platforms, with many reacting to it. While many justified the act by saying that it is common and not illegal, others blamed gender-biased laws that prevail in the country.
Later, the official Twitter account for Indian Railways also responded to the video. They wrote,
Sir, we request you to please share the journey details (PNR/Train No.) and Mobile No. with us preferably via DM. You may also raise your concern directly at http://railmadad.indianrailways.gov.in or dial 139 for speedy redressal. – RPF India

Undoubtedly, this would be a very weird experience for anyone.
If passengers are observed smoking in trains, the Indian Railways may take severe action against them which also includes the detention of the concerned passenger. According to Section 167 of the Railways Act, anybody detected smoking in a compartment against a co-request passenger’s or restriction or without their consent is subject to a fine.
Encountering weird passengers on a train can be an uncomfortable experience. However, by not losing calm, maintaining your distance, and reporting the authorities, if necessary, you can ensure your safety and avoid any unpleasant situations.

What are the railway police doing on train… Why can't the railways install smoke alarm inside each coach. Worst citizens.

Lawmakers still think women can do no crime. That's why so many gender biased laws where only man can be a perpetrator and only woman can be a victim.
