The long-awaited occasion has arrived as Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha have recently exchanged engagement rings in a grand ceremony held at Kapurthala House, located in Connaught Place, Delhi. The event was an intimate gathering attended by their near and dear ones. Both Parineeti and Raghav donned elegant attire in shades of ivory for the ceremony.
Some political guests from Raghav Chadha’s side and celebrities from the entertainment industry also joined the celebration. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, his Punjab counterpart, Bhagwant Mann, designer Manish Malhotra, Karan Johar, and Sania Mirza were all seen at the grand engagement.
At 8 PM, following the conclusion of the Sukhmani Sahib path, the couple exchanged rings. A sumptuous dinner was served afterwards, featuring an array of Indian dishes as well as vegan options.
Kapurthala House, now the official residence of the Governor and Chief Minister of Punjab during their visits to the city, was previously occupied by Maharaja Paramjit Singh of Kapurthala. It was subsequently sold to businessman Radheshyam Makhanlal Seksaria in 1950, before being requisitioned by the Government of India.
The pair first sparked dating rumors after they were seen having lunch together in Mumbai in March. It is reported that they have been friends for a long time, having studied together at the London School of Economics.
