Cricketer Virat Kohli aka King Kohli has been the number 1 batsman in the world, and it’s been a decade. At the age of 34, his fitness is unmatchable and of course it helps him score more runs in every format of the game.
Even though there have been legendary players named Don Bradman, Wasim Akram and Sachin Tendulkar. However, nobody else has done for this gentleman’s game what Virat Kohli has done.
There were other cricketers including Rohit Sharma who didn’t score a century in years, but people were only talking about Virat Kohli because of the standard that he has set up for himself and his admirers which makes his half-centuries look like a not-so-good score and all that people expect from him, is a century.
Recently, Pakistan’s batsman said that he has performed way “better than” India’s former skipper in 50 over format but still he is being ignored by the country’s selectors.
We are talking about Khurram Manzoor, who played 16 Tests, 7 ODIs and 3 T20Is for Pakistan and he is being left out by selectors and PKB.
Virat Kohli and Manzoor have come face to face a lot of times and in Asia Cup, King Kohli ran him out by a direct hit for just 10 runs.
The match was the last time the 36-year-old cricketer was playing for Pakistan and since then, he hasn’t been selected to represent Pakistan in a single international match despite performing in the domestic matches.
Khurram has played 166 List A matches and he has scored 7,992 runs whereas, Kohli has scored 14215 runs in 294 matches with 50 centuries to his name.
