In the midst of Orry AKA Orhan Awatramani’s rapid rise to fame, particularly after joining the contestants of Bigg Boss 17 and frequently socializing with Bollywood celebrities like Janhvi Kapoor, Nysa Devgan, and Sara Ali Khan, he found himself in the crosshairs of online criticism.
Despite the glamorous spotlight, Orry recently addressed a troll on social media who not only mislabeled him as ‘trans’ but also resorted to derogatory comments.
The offensive comment accused Orry of being omnipresent on various platforms, engaging in inappropriate behavior, and suggested banning him from social media.
Orry, in a fitting response, characterized the troll as a ‘poisonous person’ and expressed his disapproval of the derogatory language used.
Sharing a screenshot of the exchange with his followers, Orry questioned whether his response was warranted. He defended his reaction by stating,
“I have second-hand shame for your parents and anyone who ever comes in contact with you. I am a man myself, but your ignorant condescending remarks, and the tone you are using to put down a whole community of people is utterly disgusting.”
Condemning the troll’s behavior, Orry went on to criticize individuals like him, expressing his loss of faith in humanity due to such negativity. He remarked,
“Shame on you; it’s because of dirty-minded people like you that faith in humanity is lost. You must be so sad and miserable in your own life that you sit on the internet and vomit out such poison.”

While he stood up against online criticism, he has also faced backlash for a recent comment made on a podcast where he declared, “I am a liver.” Despite subsequent clarification to Salman Khan, explaining that, similar to acting making one an actor, living makes him a ‘liver,’ netizens have continued to mock Orry for his unconventional statement.
