Bollywood Diva Nora Fatehi recently filed a defamation case against actress Jacqueline Fernandez and now she took to Instagram to share a cryptic post about her upbringing.
The renowned actress and dancer had alleged that the Ram Setu actress made defamatory statements against her with “malicious” intent that may affect her career.
In her plea, Nora stated that Jacqueline attempted to criminally defame her with the intent to destroy her acting career in the industry. She added that the Srilankan actress Jacqueline did it to further her interests as they both work in the same industry and come from quite similar backgrounds.
After filing suit against Jacqueline, Nora recently shared a cryptic post on Instagram stories and wrote,
“My parents didn’t raise me to take advantage of people, my intentions will always be pure. We ain’t the same.”
In case you don’t know about the whole story we would like to summarize that Nora filed a defamation suit against The Kick actress on December 12 in connection with Rs 200 crore extortion case.
On the other hand, Jacqueline’s lawyer has stated that his client (Jacqueline) has never said anything in public about the Canadian dancer-actress, and hence, the question of defamation shouldn’t arise in the first place.
In the defamation suit, Nora has made claims that it was visible to everyone that the “rivals” (Jacqueline) who were unable to compete with her “fairly” in the industry have started to ruin her image in public which would eventually cause a loss of work and massively impact her career in Bollywood.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Nora Fatehi was last seen in a dance number in Sidharth Malhotra and Ajay Devgn starrer Thank God and she will be quite busy in 2023 as well as she is lined up for multiple interesting projects.
