Deepak Tenguriya, a regular patron of Uber, opted for an auto ride using the Uber India app, expecting a nominal fare of Rs 62. However, upon reaching his destination, he was flabbergasted to discover a bill amounting to a staggering Rs 7.66 crore.
The unexpected incident prompted Deepak’s friend, Ashish Mishra, to share a video capturing their disbelief and discussion over the exorbitant bill.
In the shared footage, Deepak can be heard revealing the astronomical amount he was charged for what was meant to be a simple Uber auto ride.

The breakdown of the bill revealed that Deepak was charged Rs 1,67,74,647 as the trip fare, with an additional Rs 5,99,09189 attributed to waiting time costs. Despite a promotional deduction of Rs 75, the final amount remained astronomically high.
