Things that started with Haftas turned into brutal attacks, especially during the 90s. T-Series owner Gulshan Kumar was the victim of the same who was shot to death in the broad daylight. Hrithik Roshan’s father Rakesh Roshan was attacked too.
Recently, a Twitter User Shared Bollywood Star’s Conversation With Underworld Gangster Chhota Shakeel
In the leaked tape, the Bollywood star can be heard talking to Chhota Shakeel about:
– Chikna (reportedly Abu Salem) who called up Karisma Kapoor and threatened her
– he also mentions Preity Zinta and Sanjay Leela Bhansali
– He also asks for a chip (SIM) from Dubai
– Complaints about another actor (reportedly Govinda)

Many people believe that the Bollywood star is Sanjay Dutt, whose phone was reportedly tapped by Mumbai Police in Nov 2000.
Sanjay Dutt- this call was made from Taj Hotel, Nashik- perhaps & Mumbai Police intercepted it. It was during the release of Mission Kashmir and some disputes over the distribution rights of the movie.

So that call was about a live supari being given by Baba, reference to Bhai as in Dawooood, Preity Zinta getting a collect call from some underworld pretending to be Shakeel, and her working with Shaks. Bollywood nicely explained!

In case you don’t know, Chori Chori Chupke Chupke was produced by Nazim Rizv who was arrested days before the release of the movie. He was reportedly funded by D-Company operative Chhota Shakeel and had pressurized Salman Khan to sign the movie.

Moreover, during that time, Preity Zinta had also testified against the mafia don. She admitted having received an extortion threat from Chhota Shakeel. She said that she dismissed it as a prank call.
In 2018, the actress told India Today,
“For the record, if I knew that everyone was going to back out, I also would have. It was a scary time in my life. I should have been protected. Whatever I said in court was on TV ten minutes later.”
Directed by Abbas–Mustan, the release date of Chori Chori Chupke Chupke was delayed by several months.
The cold war between Govinda and Sanjay Dutt
Sanjay Dutt and Govinda, the duo who gave multiple hits together including Ek Aur Ek Gyarah, Jodi No 1, and Hassena Maan Jayegi among others. Their bond on on-camera and off-camera was pretty well.
