Shark Tank India Season 2 Episode 20 has witnessed numerous new innovations and exciting entrepreneurs, and almost most of them also secured investment from the sharks.
Moreover, ‘Snitch’ became the first pitch of the season to get all sharks on the board, but there was one pitch that got slammed by the famous shark Namita Thapar for pitching an inappropriate way of losing weight.
Episode 20 shows an entrepreneur named Shikha Aggarwal sharing her unique idea and concept of losing weight without exercise. She asked for a Rs 20 lakh investment in exchange for 1 percent equity from the sharks.
According to the innovator, she was overweight with low energy and confidence, and with her special diet, she has managed to shed weight and become fit.
“I was studying diet and nutrition along with which I started following this unique concept and the result is here,” she added.
Shark Amazn Gupta and Vineeta Singh praised her energy by saying,
“Aap sach mein bahot dhamakedaar ho.”
However, health and wellness advocate Namita Thapar wasn’t too happy with Shikha’s idea of not exercising and losing fat.
“Yeh jo aapne word use kiya hai na ‘restart’, isi mein problem hai. Ye jo aap bata rahi hai na usse mein fundamentally agree nahi kar rahi hoon, ki no exercise,”
Namita said during the episode.
“hum diabetes capital, blood pressure capital ban rahe hain because log ye sab gimmicky cheezein kar rahe hain aur apne health ke saath mess kar rahe hain,”
she added further.
Namita expressed her anger and disappointment for misguiding the country with such diets, which are unhealthy for anyone in this country.
