Recently, Kaala Bhairava, the singer of the award-winning song “Naatu Naatu,” issued a public apology to the fans of actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR. Despite his outstanding performance and win at this year’s Oscars, Bhairava received criticism for not featuring the two actors in his live performance of the song.
Although he expressed gratitude towards the song’s director and composer, he did not acknowledge Ram Charan and Jr NTR.
In response to the backlash, Bhairava clarified in a tweet that he was referring only to those who helped him get the opportunity to perform on the Academy stage and acknowledged that Ram Charan and Jr NTR were integral to the success of the song and the movie RRR itself.

While some fans may still be disappointed that the lead actors did not perform with Bhairava at the Oscars, dancer Lauren Gottlieb revealed in a recent interview that Ram Charan and Jr NTR were thrilled with Bhairava’s performance.
She stated that the actors “were going crazy” during the performance and were very happy with the way the song turned out. Despite the omission of the lead actors in his earlier comments upsetting some fans, the actors themselves were very supportive of the performance and the success of the song.
“Naatu Naatu” was awarded Best Original Song at this year’s Oscars, beating out tough competition from other films. The live performance of the song received a standing ovation from the audience and was introduced by actress Deepika Padukone.
Despite the lack of representation during the live performance, the success of the song and Bhairava’s performance at the Oscars is a significant achievement for the Indian film industry.
