There are no limits for Kamal R Khan, nicknamed KRK. KRK has made a career out of badmouthing actors and movies and calling himself a reviewer. He doesn’t back down from what he says and doesn’t pause to consider the consequences. He has a history of being critical of others, and Kriti Sanon is the most recent target of his trolling. After Shehzada’s poor performance at the box office, he made a sexist remark about Kriti Sanon, calling her a “panuati actress.”
With films like Mimi, Luka Chupi, and Bareilly ki Barfi to her credit, Kriti Sanon has established herself as a major player in Bollywood. She’s always ignored the chatter around her and instead let her work speak for itself. Shehzada, starring Kartik Aaryan, was the actress’s second film appearance in less than three months. At the box office, the family comedy is off to a slower-than-anticipated start.
The film directed by Rohit Dhawan has just been in theatres for two days, yet it has already made Rs 15 crores. The film Bhediya starring Kriti and starring Varun Dhawan was a mediocre success, earning a total of Rs 65.84 crores worldwide. Up next for the actress is Adipurush, which also stars Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan.
Upon learning about Shehzada’s success, KRK cruelly ridiculed Kriti Sanon by labeling her a “panauti” actor. It’s Kriti Sanon’s fault, he says, that Shehzada is off to a slow start at the box office. He tweeted repeatedly that Kriti Sanon is one of Bollywood’s most “Panauti” actresses since she ruins every film in which she appears. When Bhediya fell short, he said it was because of her.
KRK then talked about her next high-budget, all-Indian film Adipurush in a subsequent tweet.
On February 17, 2023, Rohit Dhawan launched his family comedy Shehzada. The film is based on Allu Arjun’s Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramloo. Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, and Ronit Roy also feature in the film.
