Pathaan was recently released in theatres on 25th January and broke all the records at the box office on the very first day. The film marks Shah Rukh Khan’s return to silver screens after four years and is surely a ‘blockbuster comeback’. It was recently that actress Kangana Ranaut praise SRK’s Pathaan but it seems like she was on a whole different trip at that moment. Her hangover is over now and she took a U-Turn.
Manikarnika actress has now taken a dig at Pathaan’s success!
Soon after the film’s release, filmmaker Karan Johar penned a long note. He also shared a series of Instagram stories to hail the film,
“Hits beyond a century!!! ₹100 crores and above in one day! GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) megastar SRK, visionary and legendary YRF and Adi (Aditya Chopra)… Sid (Siddharth Anand), Deepika, John!!! Wow. Love forever trumps hate! Mark this date…”

Kangana picked up KJo’s words,
‘Love forever trumps hate’ and took to Twitter and wrote a lot of things against Pathaan. Her series of tweets started with,
“All those who are claiming Pathan is a triumph of love over hate, I agree but whose love over whose hate? Let’s be precise, who is buying tickets and making it a success? Yes, it is India’s love and inclusiveness where eighty percent Hindus lives, and yet a film called Pathan….”
Kangana even said that Pathaan is a film that shows Pakistan and ISI in a good way…
She tweeted,
“…. Which shows our enemy nation Pakistan and ISIS in good light is running successfully, it is this spirit of India beyond hate and judgments that make it Mahan… it is the love of India that has triumphed hate and petty politics of enemies… Lekin all those who are having high hopes please note… Pathan sirf ek film ho sakti hai … goonjega toh yahan sirf Jai Shri Ram …”
Kangana as usual further tried to give explanations and said,
“I do believe Indian Muslims are patriotic and very different from Afghan Pathans … the crux is India will never be Afghanistan, we all know what is happening in Afghanistan, it’s beyond hell there, so apt name for the movie Pathan according to its storyline is the Indian Pathan”.
Kangana’s other enemy and ex-Hrithik Roshan tweeted in appreciation of the film. He wrote,
“What a trip. Incredible vision, some never seen before visuals, tight screenplay, amazing music, surprises and twists all the way thru. Sid, you have done it again, Adi your courage astounds me. Congrats Shahrukh, Deepika, John n the entire team. #pathaan.”
