Recently, in an exclusive interview, Anant Ambani delved into the essence of the Ambani legacy, expressing his serene detachment from any perceived pressure.
“I feel no pressure at all. I consider myself fortunate to have been born into such a distinguished family.”
The Ambani name has long been synonymous with pioneering industrial advancements in India. Carrying forward this rich legacy are figures like Anant Ambani, Akash Ambani, and Isha Ambani. As Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s youngest son, Anant is positioned as an inheritor of the family’s business empire.

Presently serving as a Director on various boards of Reliance Industries, he is poised to celebrate his pre-wedding festivities with his fiancée Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar.
Anticipating the celebrations, Anant engaged in an exclusive dialogue with India Today’s News Director Rahul Kanwal, reflecting on his serene disposition towards the Ambani legacy and the family’s religious and spiritual convictions.
“My father and my grandfather took Reliance to greater heights, and I feel it is mine, my brother and my sister’s duty together to ensure my father’s vision is implemented.”
Speaking candidly, Anant expressed gratitude for his familial upbringing, remarking,
“I am privileged to have my father as my mentor, who has not only inspired me but numerous others to pursue noble endeavors and foster industries in India.”
He further articulated his sense of responsibility towards realizing his father’s vision, alongside his siblings.
In addition to their business acumen, Anant Ambani emphasized the Ambani family’s devout adherence to Sanatan Dharma, showcasing a deeply ingrained spiritual ethos.
“Everyone in my family is religious. My brother is a big Shiv Bhakt. My father worships Lord Ganesh. My mom keeps fast during Navratri for all nine days. My grandmother is also devoted to Shreenath Ji. Everyone in my family is devoted to God. Everything we have is given to us by him. We believe god is everywhere, me and you. My entire family follows Sanatan Dharam.”
When queried about any inclination towards politics, Anant promptly dismissed the notion, affirming his lack of interest in political pursuits.
“No interest in politics.”

As preparations unfold in Jamnagar to welcome over a thousand guests, including dignitaries and celebrities, Anant’s wedding festivities promise grandeur and glamour.
Notable attendees include luminaries such as Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, and renowned Indian personalities like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Amitabh Bachchan. The ceremony will be marked by a performance from global pop icon Rihanna.
Scheduled from March 1st to March 3rd at the Ambani residence in Jamnagar, the three-day affair is poised to be a spectacle of opulence and celebration.
