Kerala Schoolboy’s Heartfelt Letter to the Indian Army
In an extraordinary gesture, a third-grade student from AMLP School in Wayanad, named Rayan, wrote a heartfelt letter to the soldiers involved in the rescue efforts. The letter, written in Malayalam, expressed his admiration for the army’s bravery and dedication. Rayan was deeply moved by the soldiers’ efforts, particularly a video he saw of them eating biscuits while setting up a bridge in the disaster area, which inspired him to aspire to join the army someday.

The Southern Command of the Indian Army shared Rayan’s letter on their official X (formerly Twitter) account, along with a touching response. The Army’s reply read:
“Dear Master Rayan, Your heartfelt words have deeply touched us. In times of adversity, we aim to be a beacon of hope, and your letter reaffirms this mission. Heroes like you inspire us to give our utmost. We eagerly await the day you don the uniform and stand alongside us. Together, we will make our nation proud.
