It is a well-known fact that Road safety measures are set for the general benefit of the public, so it is the responsibility of the citizens to follow them yet some people to understand this simple fact.
Moreover, now visuals of traffic rule violations are captured by the cops and sent to the respective individual’s registered mobile number to notify them of their act is a traffic rule violation insisting the payment of the fine.
A recent instance is going viral on social media in which an individual riding a bike without a helmet was captured by Pune City police. The image was then shared with the concerned man named Melvin Cherian.
To everyone’s surprise, Melvin took to Twitter and replied with something unexpected.
Melvin, a fitness entrepreneur took to Twitter to jest with the Pune Police justifying his own behavior. Here is what he said:
Melvin Cherian, whose picture was captured by the Pune police, didn’t wear a helmet during his ride in the city.
He thanked the Pune police for clicking his candid shots from the streets, claiming that he looks good without a helmet through his tweets. He said,
“Thank you, Pune City Police. I look good…” “Will pay the challan though,”

The Pune Police Gave a fitting reply
Awaiting his challan they wrote a hilarious reply,
“Sure. P.S.: A black helmet will go very well with that nice black jacket though.”

To which the accused further replied,

Later on, Melvin tweeted again tagging Pune City police that he had paid the challan by sharing a screenshot and also wrote that he would also buy the black helmet suggested by them. He tweeted,

Media houses have made me famous though. I got some 5-6 clients since yesterday as the media was gracious enough to address me as a Fitness Entrepreneur

To this, the Pune City police replied lauding his gesture,

This is not the first time such an incident took place; a lot of these incidents happen on daily basis sadly.
We all must understand that Traffic rules are for our safety only and following the traffic rules is the duty of a responsible citizen and we should respect and follow them seriously.
