Hrithik Roshan recently shared his thoughts on the film “12th Fail,” directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, praising it as a masterclass in filmmaking.
While expressing admiration for the film and its director, Hrithik Roshan’s review did not include any mention of the lead actor, Vikrant Massey.
This omission caught the attention of some individuals online, who expressed their discontent.
In his tweet, Hrithik Roshan wrote,
“Finally saw 12th Fail. It’s quite a masterclass in film making. Above everything else I was inspired by the use of sound and sound effects play in enhancing the moments. Brilliant performances. Mr. Chopra, what a movie! Thank you for the brilliance. I am deeply inspired by this one.”

However, the absence of any acknowledgment for Vikrant Massey did not go unnoticed.
Some users in the comment section expressed their dissatisfaction, highlighting Massey’s significant contribution to the film.
One user commented, “Gajab mere bhai sab kuch achha laga movie mein bas main lead #Vikrant ka naam jubaan pe na aaya….he is the soul of this movie.” Others suggested tagging the lead actor in the appreciation post and emphasized Massey’s brilliance in the film.
“12th Fail” is based on the real-life story of IPS Manoj Kumar Sharma and his IRS officer wife, Shraddha Joshi.
Vikrant Massey portrayed Manoj, and Medha Shankar played Shraddha. Despite clashing with major releases, the film performed well at the box office. Various celebrities, including Kangana Ranaut, Anurag Kashyap, Rohit Shetty, and Vijay Deverakonda, have praised the film and particularly highlighted Vikrant Massey’s outstanding performance.
