We all make mistakes and bad choices every other day in our respective lives and most of the time just forget about them and move on. But in case of actors and prominent celebrities that’s just not the case because when they make a bad choice about a movie, their mistake will be reflected on screen every time. They can’t do anything except sitting back and regret playing those roles
There are times when an actor might feel so bad about their role in movies that they feel they actually have to apologize to audience for doing them. It doesn’t happen frequently, but fans have witnessed their favorite actors confessing their biggest flops. After all we all are just humans.

George Clooney – Batman
George Clooney have only played Batman for once but according to him, that one role will haunt him forever. He’s apologized so many times for his role in Batman & Robin and says he will continue to do so. He revealed in an interview tat the 1997 superhero flick was nothing but a “disaster”.
Mark Wahlberg -The Happening
In an interview in 2010, Mark Wahlberg said sorry for his playing his part in the 2008 psychological horror The Happening. he said ,
“It was a really bad movie,”
“It is what it is…You can’t blame me for not wanting to try to play a science teacher. At least I wasn’t playing a cop or a crook.”
Emma Stone-Aloha
When Sandra Oh commented on the whitewashing scandal created by Cameron Crowe’s film Aloha, lead actress Emma Stone was quickly apologized for her role in the film. Sandra criticized the fact that Stone was cast to play a lead role in the movie. It really began a wave of controversies.
Halle Berry – Catwoman 2
Halle Berry accepted her Razzie Award for Worst Actress in the disastrous movie named Catwoman – the film that also took the Worst Picture, Worst Director and Worst Screenplay ‘wins’. She accepted her Razzie with good humor and later promised that she would never make Catwoman 2.
Sam Worthington -Clash Of The Titans
Although the film was a big hit on box office, Sam Worthington still apologized for the performance in Clash of the Titans. He quoted,
“I think the first one, we kind of let down some people. I think I can act better, to be honest”. Later, he felt better about his performance in the sequel.
Ryan Reynolds – Green Lantern
Green Lantern was Ryan Reynolds’ first superhero movie and it nearly drowned his career. And the Deadpool fame admits that he never even watched the movie. He said,
“Look, I’ve never seen the full final version of Green Lantern. “I saw a very late stage rough cut of the film.”
Ben Affleck -Daredevil
Ben Affleck took failure of Daredevil and motivated himself for his role as Batman. He said,
“That’s the movie I want to do. I want to be a part of that. Part of it was I wanted for once to get one of these movies and do it right, to do a good version. I hate Daredevil so much.”
Will Smith -After Earth
Will Smith and his son starred in the post-apocalyptic film After Earth, which was later declared a super flop. The popular actor admitted that it was difficult for him to deal with the failure and later felt bad for playing his part in movie.
“That was a valuable lesson for me a few years ago with ‘After Earth,’. “That was the most painful failure in my career.”
He added.
Michelle Pfeiffer -Grease 2
It was almost impossible to follow a film like Grease, but Michelle Pfeiffer confessed that she didn’t know better at the time and she regrets playing that character.
“I hated that film (Grease 2) with a vengeance and could not believe how bad it was. At the time I was young and didn’t know any better,” she admitted.
