Amidst ongoing efforts for justice, Shweta Singh Kriti, Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, recently disclosed her experiences of feeling connected to him even after his tragic demise.
During a conversation on Preetika Rao’s podcast, Shweta recounted her spiritual journey and coping mechanisms following the loss of her brother.
She shared an intriguing incident where she felt a strong connection with Sushant, describing their relationship as incredibly close, almost akin to twins due to their mere one-year age gap. Shweta revealed an incident when she misplaced her AirPods and, unable to locate them, heard her brother’s voice guiding her to their whereabouts. She expressed:
“There have been several instances where I’ve felt his presence, given our incredibly close bond. Even after his passing, our connection seems unbroken. Once, when I couldn’t find my AirPods, I heard his voice softly guiding me. It was unmistakably him, with his characteristic husky tone.”
“I have felt his presence a lot of times, and we had a very cute relationship where we were almost like twins. we were always together, bahut hasi majak hota rehta tha. Toh kya hua after his death I lost my airpods toh I was looking for it everywhere and I was not able to find it. Toh bhai dheere se mere kaan mein bolta hai. I felt it like his voice nd his husky voice and everything.”
Shweta continued, sharing how Sushant directed her to the misplaced AirPods behind a curtain.
Despite finding the experience eerie, she conversed with him about it, to which Sushant reassured her, explaining it as a natural occurrence despite his lack of a physical form. Shweta elaborated:
“He calmly said, ‘Your AirPods are behind the curtain. Go check there, by the window shield.’ Initially startled, I followed his instructions and found them exactly where he said. It felt surreal to be able to communicate with him like this, but he assured me it’s normal, given our bond transcends physical limitations.”
“Tumhara airpod tumhare curtain ke peeche hai. Jao waha par mil jayega on the window shield.” I thought really? Toh I went there and checked, and it was right there. I was like oh my God bhai, this is so spooky. I’m able to hear you, talk to you. Is this not spooky. Toh he was like, ‘Kya hua, this is not spooky at all. This is normal, it’s just that I don’t have a physical body now, but I can still connect with you and I can still talk to you, and you should be totally fine with it.'”
This incident took place while Shweta was in California, approximately a year and a half after Sushant’s passing. She emphasized that she continues to feel his presence, often experiencing subtle reminders of him, such as his songs playing unexpectedly, especially during moments of emotional significance.
Amid ongoing speculation surrounding Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, his family continues to offer glimpses into his life, keeping his memory alive in the hearts of his fans.
