Himanshi Khurana has presented evidence indicating that the idea to address religious differences in their breakup statement was suggested by Asim Riaz.
The Bigg Boss 13 alumni, Himanshi Khurana, clarified her stance on the separation, emphasizing that she doesn’t hold Asim Riaz solely responsible. She deactivated her social media account after issuing what she termed her ‘final statement’ regarding her split with Asim Riaz. In support of her, Asim also shared a note on the same platform expressing solidarity with their decision to part ways.
Both contestants from Bigg Boss 13, Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana, were previously in a relationship.
Himanshi Clarifies, Deactivates Account Addressing the matter on social media, Himanshi wrote,
“This is my last and final statement to clarify that I am a secular person and not disrespecting any religion…I simply chose mine. Just as I don’t want anyone blaming him (Asim) for the breakup, I also don’t want anyone speaking against me…In my previous relationship, I remained silent; I took the entire blame upon myself here as well. However, I apologize as people perceived it differently.”
She also shared a screenshot of a conversation with Asim where he suggested,
“You should actually write the real reason about us belonging to different religions. We both have contrasting beliefs. With utmost respect to our religions, we don’t see a future together.”
She responded,
“I wrote that but removed it because you would have been targeted.”
To which Asim replied, “Absolutely not. Not even 1%.”
Asim Speaks Out Following Himanshi’s note, Asim broke his silence with a tweet saying,
“Indeed, we both agreed to prioritize our love for our respective religious beliefs. Being in our 30s, we have every right to make such mature decisions, and we did. We’ve mutually decided to part ways, respecting each other’s diverse paths. I respect Himanshi and our unique journeys, and I did encourage her to state the actual reason for our separation. Kindly respect our privacy.”
