Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, two of Bollywood’s most popular actors, are engaged to be married. Despite all the indications, the pair never came out and said they were engaged or married. They’ve set their wedding date for February 6th, 2023, at the Surygarh castle in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. We probed deeply to discover the story behind their wedding location choice of a royal castle.
The reason Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani chose the regal Suryagarh mansion for their wedding has been revealed by a person close to the situation in Bollywood. The wedding was originally planned to take place in Punjab, where both families live. This would have made wedding preparations easier for everyone involved. The insider claims that both Jalandhar and Chandigarh were on the itinerary. Unfortunately, it being wedding season meant that all of the potential locations were already taken.
According to the same source, the couple considered delaying the ceremony until later in May, which is also peak wedding season, but ultimately settled on Rajasthan. Sidharth and Kiara skipped all the Havelis in Punjab and went straight to Suryagarh palace. After the original site choices in Jalandhar and Chandigarh spiralled out of control, the state of Rajasthan was proposed as a replacement. The couple looked at many hotels and palaces in the state with royal traditions before deciding on Suryagarh as their wedding location.
Jaisalmer, Rajasthan is home to the magnificent Suryagarh Palace stronghold. Both the city and the state are noted for their affluent and regal populations. The Thar Desert is a wonderful place, and the Palace aims to keep its traditions alive while adding a dash of modern luxury to their hotel.
Since they’ve been together for so long, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani have decided to get married. There will be a lot of pomp and circumstance during the wedding since it is an authentic Indian ceremony. Haldi, Mehndi, sangeet, pheras, and everything else associated with a traditional Indian wedding will all take place during this celebration. Sangeet will be held on the 5th of February, while the pheras will be held on the 6th. The next day, February 7, reception is expected to be conducted, according to sources. Receptions are said to be held in both Delhi (at the groom’s family’s request) and Mumbai (at the request of the bride’s family).
