Actress Hansika Motwani finally opened up after being accused of breaking the first marriage of her husband Sohael Khaturiya. The “Koi… Mil Gaya” actress reacted to the speculations in the first episode of the reality series “Hansika’s Love Shaadi Drama,” claiming
“it’s the price for being a celebrity.”
In December, Hansika and Sohael tied the knot. Soon after, it was discovered that Hansika had also attended Sohael’s previous wedding to Rinky, a best friend of hers. She was even the bridesmaid of her best friend.
Netizens slammed Hansika for taking the husband of her friend.
Reacting to such claims, Hansika on the show said,
“Just because I knew the person at that time doesn’t mean it was my fault. I have nothing to do with this. Because I am a public figure, it was very easy for people to point at me and make me the villain. This was a price I pay for being a celebrity.”
Sohael also reacted to the allegations.
“The news that I was previously married came out and it came out in the wrong light. It came out as if the breakup was because of Hansika, which is absolutely untrue and baseless,”
he said.
“I was first married in 2014 and that marriage lasted for a very short time. But just because we have been friends and someone saw pictures of her attending my wedding, is why this speculation started,”
Sohael further added.
Hansika Motwani began acting on television with the show “Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand,” and she later appeared in “Shaka Laka Boom Boom,” “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi,” and “Son Pari.”
She has played a young teenage girl in Hrithik Roshan’s “Koi… Mil Gaya.”
When she grew up, she tried her hands in the south Indian film industry and it worked out pretty well for the actress. She was last seen in the south film ‘MAHA’
