After the massive success of season 1, The second season of the popular show ‘Shark Tank India’ started airing on January 2. Since it began, it has become the talk of the town and the reasons are numerous.
In the very first episode, all the sharks got impressed by the pitch from a makeup brand; despite that, the pitch was rejected mainly because it was a competitor brand to Vineeta Singh’s Sugar Cosmetics.
The second season started facing backlash since then and the absence of Ashneer was being emphasized all over the internet.
The episode grabbed a lot of mixed reviews from the audience and most of people find the new season over dramatic.
Among the seven sharks, Aman Gupta Grover and Peyush Bhansal stand out as clear frontrunners. However, all of the judges, leading players in the business world, receive recognition just like the previous season.

The CEO of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Namita Thapar, became famous on the show for saying lines that were quickly turned into memes. Her most famous comeback is the always practical “meri ismein expertise nahi hai” when she’s not interested in a pitch.

The show is based on the popular concept of the show of the same name – Shark Tank USA
Apart from Namita and Vineeta, sharks from the previous season, Aman Gupta and Anupam Mittal are also a part of this season, along with the new Shark in the panel Amit Jain who replaced BharatPe founder Ashneer Grover.
