Shark Tank India‘s fame and BoAt Co-founder Aman Gupta recently opened about his love life on a podcast. He revealed that his wife has always been the backbone behind his success and more.
Talking about his love story, the entrepreneur also shared how his father turned into Diwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge‘s Anupam Kher and asked him to go after the woman he loved (now his wife).
Aman shared that his wife, Priya, felt that he was “chep” and wasn’t interested in him initially. However, Aman didn’t give up and chased her.
The shark went on to say that she texted him that they had a great time together and that she liked him but didn’t want to continue the relationship.
Aman was sad after this as he didn’t get closure about why she said, “it’s over.” Shark further added that he couldn’t reach her as she had switched her phone off.
When his father saw his son upset, Aman revealed the whole thing about his love life.
The Shark Tank India judge said that his father became DDLJ’s Anupam Kher and asked him to pursue the love of his life. As Priya was going to Pune, Aman went from station to station to check on her boarding details.
And when he found the train chart, he jumped on the train without a ticket. Aman shared that when he saw her, he said “hi” like a hero and left.
Aman knew that she was shocked by this thing. Later, they both talked about it for a long time, and now they have been together for over 18 years.
Aman also revealed that when he left his job as he wanted to start his business, he witnessed the stress on his mother-in-law’s face, thinking that her daughter was working while her son-in-law had become jobless. However, now, his mother-in-law flaunts him, and if she doesn’t get any topic, she would start praising Aman.
