The popular show “The Great Indian Kapil Show” has finally made its debut on Netflix, delighting viewers with its premiere on OTT platforms. The first episode of the much-awaited show featured esteemed guests including Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and Riddhima Kapoor.
During the first episode, apart from entertaining jokes and anecdotes, Neetu Kapoor shared insights into the values her son, Ranbir Kapoor, has imbibed from his late father, Rishi Kapoor.

Neetu Kapoor expressed her admiration for her late husband, Rishi Kapoor, acknowledging his significant role in the upbringing of their kids.

She mentioned that both Ranbir and Riddhima have inherited a sense of calmness from her. She revealed:
“But I think inko jo sanskaar diye hai vo Rishi ji ne diye hai, time ka value, paison ki value. Sabse badi baat hai izzat karna. (which roughly translates to: But I believe the values they possess were taught by my husband, Rishi Kapoor. The importance of time, the significance of money. I think the most crucial aspect is respecting others).”
Neetu Kapoor also shared that Rishi had a strict parenting style with both his kids. She revealed:
“I feel Raha mein bhi vahi sanskaar jaenge because ye Rishi ji ka beta hai. (which roughly translates to: I feel Raha will also hold those values because he is Rishi ji’s son).”
However, in response to Neetu Kapoor’s comments, one user accused her of attempting to whitewash Ranbir’s image, a sentiment that was echoed by several others in the comment section. However, another user offered a different perspective, suggesting that from a mother’s point of view, her son will always be right.
