The CEO of Emcure Pharmaceuticals is Namita Thapar. Her father, Satish Mehta, a second-generation entrepreneur, started the firm in 1981.
4-Amit Jain | CarDekho
Amit Jain, the newest Shark in the tank, spent a year as a Software Engineer at TCS and another almost seven years in various capacities at Trilogy before launching his own business.
5- Peyush Bansal | Lenskart
Peyush Bansal is a fan favourite on the Indian version of Shark Tank. After graduating with a degree in Engineering from McGill, he began his career as a Program Manager for Microsoft. Lenskart wasn’t Peyush Bansal’s first business venture; he had founded five others.
6- Vineeta Singh | Sugar Cosmetics
In her whole life, Vineeta Singh has been an entrepreneur. She got a placement offer of 1 crore per year from a multinational investment bank when she graduated from IIM Ahmedabad, but she turned it down to launch her own HR services firm.
