Recently, A similar instance happened with Swiggy and Durex India when their convo on New Year’s Eve condom sales went viral on the social media platform.
Durex India humorously replies to Swiggy
On 31st December and January 1, when the whole world was busy enjoying the holidays, companies were busy with their marketing. A renowned brand shared a tweet in which the company boosted the sales of condoms done by Swiggy Instamart.
Taking to Twitter, Swiggy wrote,

While numerous netizens were making jokes about Swiggy’s claim, Durex India, a leading condom company, entered the chat by commenting,
“Thank you for ‘delivering’ them O’s. We know at least 2757 are having a banging new year P.s: We hope they order coffee together tomorrow morning”

Soon after this, Swiggy replied,

The conversation went viral at the speed of light, with many people responding to it in their ways. Some social media users complimented brands’ market awareness, and others made jokes about people who ordered condoms in the new year.

Reportedly, the food delivery service Swiggy fulfilled 3.50 lakh biryani orders on Saturday, December 31, and by 10:25 p.m., the app had sent over 61,000 pizzas throughout the country.
