Pathaan, the newest film from Shahrukh Khan, has been a huge success since its premiere on January 25. The film has even won over a celebrity admirer, Australian cricket great David Warner. Warner, who has made a name for himself posting parodies of Indian songs and films online, made a humorous tribute video. Warne superimposed his face over Shahrukh Khan’s in many sequences from the film Pathaan in a video that has now gone popular on social media.
He captioned it as: “Wow what a film, can you name this??” with hashtags legend and icon.

Several Instagram followers and the India bowler Khaleel Ahmed gave Warner a thumbs up for the video. Previous footage of the Australia opener David dancing to Indian music were shared online.
The espionage thriller, which featured Shahrukh Khan’s big-screen comeback after more than four years, broke records as the highest-grossing opening weekend film in Hindi cinema. The outcome was that it broke the previous record set by blockbuster movies like RRR and KGF 2.
This forthcoming Test series, which begins in India on February 9, will need Warner’s presence there. The Australia opener, who played in the Big Bash League (BBL) for the Sydney Thunder team, recently said that he was fatigued after the long home season. Warner also participated in all three of Australia’s Test matches just before the BBL season.
