In addition to starring in many blockbuster Bollywood films together, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone duo made their debut together in 2007’s Om Shanti Om. With Pathaan, a spy thriller helmed by Siddharth Anand, the pair is poised to make their comeback. A video of Deepika discussing her and SRK’s chemistry was released by the production company Yash Raj Films.
Pathaan, a film in Aditya Chopra’s expansive espionage world, is scheduled for January 25, 2023, release in theatres throughout India in the languages of Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
“Shah Rukh and I have been very lucky to work on some great movies together, starting with Om Shanti Om. I’m working with the person I like working with the most. We have a great relationship, and I think people always notice that in the movies we make together,” Deepika said.
When she talked about how well they got along, she said, “Well, he and I are both to blame for that. Again, he was also on a strict diet and working out a lot. So, both he and I can be proud of the work we have done on our own. But in the end, it’s the people you work with that matter.”
Exuberance for Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film Pathaan has reached a fever pitch in the last two days before its release. The film’s first-day advance ticket sales keep rising, setting new records with each passing day.
The film, directed by Siddharth Anand and set for release today and would be Shah Rukh’s first leading role in four years. Since the film’s announcement, fans have been counting down the days until its release in the hopes of seeing a “king-sized” return to the box office.
