With the success of Pathaan, Deepika has risen to the top of the box office to rival even Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi and Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai.
So far, Tiger Zinda Hai has made around 564 crores worldwide. Meanwhile, Gangubai Kathiawadi made approximately 200 crores in its lifetime. Well, not just Pathaan, but also Padmaavat (585 crores) and Bajirao Mastani (355 crores) have established Deepika Padukone as the reigning queen of the box office. In contrast, Katrina Kaif’s most recent film, Phone Bhoot, bombed at the box office, making just around 18 crores globally.
