Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone was recently featured on the cover of Time Magazine and was interviewed for the same. Now a video from the interview is going viral on the internet as it also featured her husband Ranveer Singh. While some fans have called the interaction cute, many trolled called it cringe as the couple can be seen sharing some PDA. The fact remains that it’s truly cringe-worthy to see desi trolls accusing the couple of being fake on a global platform.
The viral video shows Deepika talking to the producer who asked her about her marriage, and at the same time, her husband Ranveer Singh walked in to surprise her. Later, she can be seen addressing the camera and saying, that it wasn’t planned but Ranveer just had read cosmic timing. The couple can also be sharing a kiss and holding hands as they spoke to each other.
When asked about their marriage, Deepika said they have been married for about four and half years and Ranveer added, they have been together for more than a decade. Talking about their relationship in the video, Padukone exclaimed,
“I love spending time with my husband. I have married my best friend. We are so goofy with each other. My most vulnerable, most clumsy, my most expressive. We have known each other for 10 years almost. It’s my happy place.”

However, the comments section was not kind towards the celebrity couple as many went on to call them fake. One user trolled the couple and said,
“PDA at the cringest level”
Another said Deepika was being controlled by Ranveer. One netizen also said it’s a contract marriage and that Deepika was promoting Ranveer in the West.
A section of people also came to their defense and asked the trolls to leave the couple alone.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika Padukone was recently seen in Pathaan alongside SRK. She has numerous films in the pipeline including Fighter directed by Siddharth Anand which also stars Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor. She will also be seen alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, and Disha Patani in Nag Ashwin’s Project K.
Meanwhile, Ranveer has been gearing up for the release of Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi. Marking the return of Karan Johar as director, it will release on July 28.
