‘The Kashmir files’ was one of the most successful movies of 2022. Even though numerous Bollywood movies failed to impress the audience this year, the Kashmir files turned out to be a massive hit. The director of the movie Vivek Agnihotri grabbed a lot of attention throughout the year, and he is in limelight again because of his recent remarks.
The first song ‘Besharam Rang’ from Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham’s much-anticipated movie Pathaan was released on Monday.
The song received a mixed response from the viewers. Some people lauded Shah Rukh and Deepika’s on-screen chemistry, Shilpa Rao’s mesmerizing voice, and exotic locations while a section of people didn’t like the song much.
And now talking about the songs, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri recently tweeted that the songs of Bollywood movies are bad copies of Instagram reels. He wrote,
“First Insta reels used to look like bad copies of Bollywood songs. Now Bollywood songs look like bad copies of Insta reels.”

Although the director didn’t mention any names of the songs, netizens opinionized that it was an indirect dig at Besharam Rang from Pathaan.
Social media users reminded the director that he has made films like Hate Story and ZiD. They emphasized that if a South movie does the same ‘it’s not vulgar’ and if anyone from Bollywood does it, ‘it’s cheap.
One user shared a screengrab of Vivek’s tweet praising SRK and wrote,
“Heard of loyalty?? I guess u haven’t. You obviously cannot be loyal to anyone or anything 🙂 Jis Bollywood ko sar par bitha rakha tha… use aaj gaali? 😃 Jo apne kaam ka na ho sakaa… wo Kashmiri Pandito ka kya hoga? Is sab ke beech… doosra fattu @AnupamPKher gayab hai 🤣🤣”

Another added,
“And how about ur c-grade movies earlier to propaganda movies now? They were classless earlier. They’re classless even now. They don’t even deserve to be compared to insta reels. Ur movies as just a piece of crappy nonsense.”
