Without a doubt, Bigg Boss 16 is one of the best reality series ever. When it comes to the program and its candidates, this season has a number of recognizable names and faces, including a number of well-regarded actresses.
In the wake of her eviction from Bigg Boss 16, one of the actresses made news not for her elimination but for a comment she made. As of last week, Sreejita De was no longer a part of the program. Sreejita De and Tina Datta, also an actress and participant in Bigg Boss 16, have had a contentious history even before De entered the show.
Sreejita De, who recently appeared on the program as a wild card contender, has been in hot water with Tina Datta’s mother, Madhumita Datta, after making unpleasant remarks about her daughter during an episode. Sreejita De told Soundarya Sharma in a chat,
“In my opinion, no one in their right mind would want to do what those fools are doing. Bohot logo ke ghar todne ki koshish kari hai, I almost grew up with her. The khudka’s house wasn’t supposed to be there, therefore no one should have to clean it up. Oh, she’s all alone.” Additionally, Sreejita referred to Tina as “saddist” and remarked, “We have no issues whatsoever, so relax. Please give this matter your full attention. Anger and envy are at the root of everything.”
Madhumita Datta, Tina’s mother, has spoken out against Sreejita De’s ‘housebreaker’ comment in an interview with India Today.in.
She said:
“Sreejita said Tina broke a lot of homes, and if Tina has indeed broken homes, toh vo log bhi toh bahar aayenge na.” She further added that Sreejita always said that she is not friends with Tina, and Tina has already said that they are friends. Tina’s mother says that Sreejita can only comment on Tina if she is friends with her and if they share everything. Madhumita further added, “If I had scolded her (Sreejita) ya 2 baatein sunayi hoti, toh kya milta mujhe? Kuch nahi milne wala. Jo jawab usko dena hai vo bahar aake de. Because Tina’s father wants an answer. That day itself, her father said he needed an answer with proof.”
Tina’s mum commented on Sreejita’s claim that her daughter needs a man around all the time, saying that she and Sreejita’s mom were close friends and that Sreejita’s mom often came to visit. Sreejita’s mother is quite familiar with Tina and her personality, Tina’s mother said.
Sreejita also said that Tina can’t stay without a guy. When Tina’s mother heard this, she said that Sreejita’s mom used to come to her house and that they were good friends. Tina’s mother also said that Sreejita’s mother knows Tina and how she is very well. Madhumita also said that Tina turns off her phone at 10 p.m. and wonders why she hasn’t been with a guy for years if she can’t be with one. and Why does she want to be married to someone else?
The sixteenth season of Bigg Boss premiered on Saturday, October 1 at 9:30 PM. Bigg Boss 16’s current housemates are as follows: Shalin Bhanot, Shiv Thakare, Tina Datta, MC Stan, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Sumbul Touqeer, Archana Gautam, Soundarya Sharma, and Priyanka Choudhary. Bigg Boss 16 airs at 10 p.m. Monday to Friday and 9 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
