Protest over Shah Ruk Khan’s upcoming movie Pathaan is increasing day by day and recently it took a violent turn as members of Bajrang Dall and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) entered a mall forcefully in Gujrat’s Ahmedabad city on Wednesday.
A few days after threatening that they would not allow Pathaan to release in the state, the right-wing activist vandalized the mall and tore down and burnt all posters of the movie.
The disturbing video of the destruction was shared on the official Twitter handle of Bajrang Dal.
In the disturbing video, a handful number of people can be seen creating chaos and breaking all promotional posters of Pathaan. They can also be heard chanting ‘Jai Shree Ram’ whilst they were vandalizing the theater of the mall.
Sharing the video, they captioned,

The entire controversy related to Pathaan began when the BJP-led government in Madhya Pradesh said they may ban the release of the new film for showing a woman wearing saffron’ in Besharam Rang.
According to reports, Madhya Pradesh home minister Narottam Mishra questioned Padukone about wearing saffron swimsuit and said,
“The costumes in the song at first glance are objectionable. It is visible that the song of the film Pathaan has been shot with a dirty mindset. I don’t think this is right, and I will tell the director and makers of the film to fix it.”
Pathaan is all set to release in theatres later this month and controversies are refusing to slow down.
