Recently, Ayushmann Khurrana visited the sets of Indian Idol 13 to promote his upcoming film An Action Hero. The actor talked about a lot of things and even revealed that he came for auditions of the show where he was once rejected.
Sharing this shocking event that took place in his life with the audience and the judges, Ayushmann Khurrana told that he had once auditioned for the singing reality show Indian Idol. The ‘Andhadhun’ actor went on to say that there was one more singer who was rejected and she is none other than Neha Kakkar who is currently judging the show.
In the promo for an upcoming episode of Indian Idol, Ayushmann Khurrana says,
“Me aur Neha Ek hi din reject hue the Indian Idol se. Aur uss train me wapas ja rahe the Mumbai se Delhi. Hum pachas log the aur Ek Saath roye the. Neha aaj judge aur me yahan par aya hu. So it just really means a lot.
(Neha and I got rejected on the show on the same day. We traveled back to Delhi from Mumbai by train. The other 50 people got rejected and we all cried together. But today, Neha is judge and I am here to promote.)”
