Awkward Moments: When Kiara Advani Wanted To Invite Alia Bhatt At Her Wedding As Bridesmaid’s Gang

Fans of Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani can hardly wait to see them in their new roles as husband and wife on February 7, 2023, the day of their wedding.

After Sidharth complained to Karan Johar that Vicky Kaushal was being secretive about his marriage to Katrina Kaif, the Shershaah pair nearly made a statement on Koffee With Karan 7 about getting married. Kiara Advani was so excited about her wedding that she couldn’t help but blush as she revealed that she was more than just friends with Sidharth. Shahid Kapoor, who was also present in the program, saw her readiness for the big day.

After being asked on the same show who she would like to invite to her wedding, Kiara said that she would like Alia Bhatt to be in her bridesmaid’s gang. However, she quickly realized that this would be awkward for her would-be husband, Sidharth Malhotra, who had been in a relationship with her in the past. Kiara on the show had said, “I’d really love Alia Bhatt to be in my bride squad. I love her. She is so cute”. 

Later Karan being Karan furrowed his eyebrows with Kiara’s idea and said, “In your bride squad? Marrying Sidharth Malhotra?”. Getting hitched to Sidharth Malhotra? Kiara shared KJo’s sentiment that “it could be too much.” But as the old adage goes, time heals all wounds. Sidharth and Alia have both gone on with their lives and seem to be doing just well. Similarly, Sidharth expressed gratitude on KWK7 for the fact that Kiara is not yet taken, and he afterwards manifested their marriage.

Sidharth and Kiara’s loved ones have arrived at Jaisalmer Suryagarh Palace, where today they will celebrate their sangeet and haldi before tomorrow’s magnificent wedding. Everyone can’t wait to see the happy couple’s wedding photos and videos.
