As Arnab Goswami’s sky came crashing down with his chats involving Partho Dasgupta of BARC grabbing the limelight, the editor-in-chief of Republic TV wanted to stage another fightback against Congress.
In the latest tweet of Republic TV of India, Arnab quoted, “#ArnabFightsBack | Arnab: I have decided to sue the Congress party, take strong legal action against their lies, and expose them in the courts of law. People of India: Join hands with Republic as we fight this political conspiracy with all our strength. The truth is on our side.”

He also challenged Rahul Gandhi on a one-on-one debate where he wanted to expose how Rahul Gandhi helped Pakistan.

He also quoted, “Don’t send your groupies. Face me, one on one, Rahul if you can,” he said in a statement. He further said that those chats where he spoke about a retaliation of Pulwama attack were nothing but what every Indian expected at that time. “Every Indian expected India to thrash Pakistan black and blue after Pulwama. To even suggest that the Prime Minister gave me this information is a horrendous act of falsification.”
Meanwhile Congress will be pointing out the Whatsapp leaked controversy in an imminent parliamentary session. In a press meet, senior Congress leaders that include the likes of AK Antony, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Sushil Kumar Shinde, Salman Khurshid and Pawan Khera revealed the plan of taking this with the Parliament.
They also demanded stringent action against Arnab Goswami for jeopardizing national security only to propel his channel’s TRP. Circling around this, Congress also pointed out that BJP and Republic TV may be working together and that is strictly against the code of journalism.
