Kangana Ranaut’s recent tweet about “Khans” and “Muslim actresses” drew nationwide criticism from social media users and from renowned Bollywood celebrities as well.
After praising Pathaan at her ‘Emergency’ wrap-up party, taking a dig at Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, which has broken all the records at the box office, she tweeted,
“This country has only and only loved all Khans and at times only and only Khans…And obsessed over Muslim actresses, so it’s very unfair to accuse India of hate and fascism … there is no country like Bharat in the whole world.”
Very good analysis… this country has only and only loved all Khans and at times only and only Khans…And obsessed over Muslim actresses, so it’s very unfair to accuse India of hate and fascism … there is no country like Bharat 🇮🇳 in the whole world 🥰🙏 https://t.co/wGcSPMCpq4

A lot of renowned celebs reacted to Kangana Ranaut’s tweet and most recent one is The Kashmir Files actor Anupam Kher.
Veteran actor Anupam Kher, is currently promoting his upcoming film Shiv Shastri Balboa, shared his views about Kangana’s statement.
Talking about the same, Kher said that art has its own place, just as religion has its own. He went on to add that people don’t go to see films because of religion; they go because of art. He further added that people don’t visit temples, mosques, or gurudwaras after watching a movie, they go because they have faith in their religion. He stated that while everyone has the right to express their faith, “I don’t think anybody decides to say that.”
