The movie not only performed well at the box office but also earned lead actor Vikrant Massey the prestigious Best Actor (Critics) Filmfare Award. Their remarkable journey and achievements were showcased in the film, captivating audiences and critics alike.
Anand Mahindra Met The Couple That Inspired ’12th Fail’
Meanwhile, Anand Mahindra met the couple over the lunch. Later, he took to his social media and shared a picture with the power-couple, wherein he was holding a paper on which he took their autograph. Sharing the picture, Mahindra wrote a long note, praising their strong dedication to honesty and their belief in living a life of absolute integrity. The chairman of Mahindra Group was deeply touched by their story, seeing it as a symbol of perseverance and determination. But what happened next is even more intriguing. He wrote:
“If India is to become a global power, it will happen more rapidly if more people adopt their way of life. So they are the real celebrities of this country. And their autographs are heirlooms. I am a wealthier man today, for having met them.”
