Amitabh Bachchan, the esteemed figure in Bollywood with a career spanning nearly six decades, has recently been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital due to health concerns. Despite his age of 80, Amitabh Bachchan continues to captivate audiences with his remarkable acting prowess. However, it appears that the legendary actor is facing health challenges, leading to his hospitalization.
On March 15, 2024, Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital. Although specific details about his condition remain undisclosed, reports suggest that he underwent angioplasty, not on his heart but on his leg due to a clot.
Earlier this year, the actor also underwent wrist surgery. Prior to the news of his hospitalization spreading online, Amitabh Bachchan shared a video of his recent appearance and expressed gratitude in a tweet.
A recent Instagram post on March 9, 2024, depicted Amitabh Bachchan enjoying a cricket match alongside his son, Abhishek, reflecting moments of joy before his hospitalization.
Additionally, the actor was seen attending the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Afterward, he shared his experience in a vlog, highlighting the unique aspect of the event and his visit to the VanTara animal relief facility.
“The gates of Jalsa did not open on the Sunday .. but the gates of a wedding did occur .. up to the location of the wedding and then back just now. It has to be said the experience was one never seen before .. not just the atmosphere of the wedding, but the VanTara animal relief facility. Goodness me .. what an extraordinary experience and the most scientific set up for the animals that get maltreated, to be brought here at this farm and nurtured out if habitation.”
Reflecting on past challenges, Amitabh Bachchan expressed gratitude to his fans for their prayers and support during his recovery from an accident on the set of “Coolie” in 1982. He acknowledged the immense impact of their well-wishes on his journey to recovery.
“I will always be grateful to you. When I was injured in 1982 during the shoot of Coolie, all of you prayed for me and I can never forget that. I have this huge weight on my shoulders and I will always be indebted to my fans. I will never be able to repay it, that’s what I feel. I am sitting here because of your prayers and blessings.”
