In the aftermath of a widely circulated video showing Aditya Narayan hitting and discarding a student’s phone during his concert at a college, the student involved has come forward to present his version of events.
In an interview with Zoom, Lovkesh Chandravanshi, a third-year BSc student at Rungta College in Chattisgarh, refuted the assertions made by the singer and the event manager.

Chandravanshi recounted his position near the stage, as depicted in the viral footage, with Narayan performing and engaging in selfies with fans using their phones. He claimed,
“I approached the stage and offered my phone for a selfie, but he forcefully struck my hand and tossed away my phone without cause.”
This brat is at it, again. Aditya Narayan is a disgrace. If not for his father’s fame and clout, this chap wouldn’t even be making Reels, let alone doing shows and concerts.

Additionally, Chandravanshi criticized the event manager’s statement alleging that he had struck the singer, asserting,
“There was no physical altercation; we were simply offering our phones for selfies, which he was accepting.”
“The concert was going on and I was standing in front of the stage. Aditya sir was performing and he was also taking everyone’s phones and clicking selfies for them. I was right by the stage so I also gave my phone to him for the selfie but he hit my hand with his mic and then threw my phone away for no reason. He was taking selfies with everyone so I thought he would take with me too that’s why I gave my phone.”
“People have been saying a lot of things but this is the truth. No one hit him actually, we were just normally giving him our phones for selfies and he was even obliging. Even after throwing my phone he continued giving selfies to everyone. Only he knows what his mood was like,” he shared further.
When asked if Lovkesh would be filing a police complaint, he said,
“I don’t want to file a police complaint. I will not do that. I am not comfortable and I will not take action. I am also scared.”

Chandravanshi further alleged that Aditya Narayan proceeded to take selfies with other fans even after disposing of his phone into the crowd, as depicted in the video.
“Only he knows what prompted his behavior,”
Chandravanshi remarked.
When questioned about the incident, Narayan reportedly declined to comment, stating,
“I defer to a higher authority.”

Meanwhile, the event manager, in an interview with Zoom, asserted that the individual involved was “persistently obstructing” Narayan, leading to the singer’s agitation. Furthermore, the manager contended that the individual in question was not affiliated with the college.
The controversy surrounding the Aditya Narayan concert persists, with conflicting narratives emerging from both parties involved.
