1. Bhoot Police (2021)
This movie was released on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar last year. The movie and cast were announced in 2019. Saif Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Fana Sheikh were supposed to be seen in lead roles. Later, the makers changed their minds and decided to cast Arjun Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Yami Gautam, and Jacqueline Fernandez as a part of the project.
It is a Hindi horror comedy film. It was later on disclosed that Abhishek Bachchan was the first choice for the lead role but later it was passed on to Saif Ali Khan.
2. Humraaz (2002)
Humraaz, one of the most popular romantic movies in the Bollywood industry is directed by Abbas Mastan. The lead actors were Bobby Deol and Akshaye Khanna, and Actress was Ameesha Patel.
Later, one of the producers revealed that Abhishek Bachchan was to be starred in place of Akshaye Khanna. It was also rumored that a lot of people allegedly complained about Akshaye Khanna’s tantrums on sets, but the movie turned out to be a blockbuster.
3. Gayab (2004)
This underrated movie took Tusshar Kapoor’s acting career to heights. Even though the movie is not known to many, but it is very entertaining. The ABCL (Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Ltd.) took the script for this movie and Abhishek was supposed to be the lead actor.

You won’t be able to digest this fact, but Abhishek Bachchan was first shortlisted for the role of Aamir Khan in Lagaan. Junior Bachchan declined the offer just like so many other actors, but Lagaan became a massive hit worldwide.
5. Bhoot (2003)
This Hindi horror movie starring actors like Ajay Devgn, Urmila Matondkar, Nana Patekar, Tanuja, Rekha, Fardeen Khan, Seema Biswas, and many others is really fun to watch. DirectorRam Gopal Varma aka RGV diRGV wanted Abhishek Bachchan to play the lead role, but Abhishek was busy shooting LOC.
6. Dil Chahta Hai (2001)
Dil Chahta Hai is considered one of the cult classics of the 2000s in the Bollywood industry. Through this movie, Farhan Akhtar emerged as one of the good directors in the industry. Farhan revealed that Abhishek Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, and Akshaye Khanna were on his mind as the dream cast. But later Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan were finalized. Dil Chahta Hai is one of the most successful movies of all time.
