Granddaughter of Amitabh Bachchan and daughter of Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aaradhya recently moved to the Delhi High Court against several YouTube channels for spreading fake news about her health condition. Reportedly, the hearing of the petition will take place today, April 20, 2023.
According to reports, channels like Bollywood Time, Bollywood Chingari, and a few other names have been mentioned in the petition. With the petition, the 11-year-old star kid has asked the channels to “de-list and deactivate” all videos related to her.
Reportedly, Google LLC and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Grievance Cell) have been included as parties to the lawsuit.
A law firm named Anand and Naik stated that the sole motivation of the defendants was to profit from the high reputation and popularity of the Bachchans without any respect for the family.
A media portal shared the news on its Instagram account. \Soon, the internet community expressed their opinions in the comment section of the post. An Instagram user wrote,
“I mean i don’t think she’s doing wrong. Anyone will be offended by unnecessary fake and negative health issues videos. Sabki sehenshilta ki limits hoti hai.”
A comment read,
“This is soo sad. She’s just 11 even though I’m only 18 this isn’t right. Soo many channels in India have made fun of her hair and many paparazzi go to overboard with the celebs. Be more like Hollywood since you gotta respect each other’s privacy no matter who they are.”
On the other hand, a person also commented, “Or kuch nhi mila kiya publicity hone k liye.”
