Shark Tank India 2 has become one of the most popular TV shows in the country. For whatever reason, every pitch on the show has made huge headlines. And once again the same thing happened when an entrepreneur appeared in the latest episode and pitched his wheelchair company.
The pitcher asked for Rs 1 crore for 1 percent equity for his company, Neomotion, on the show.
Shadi.com founder Anupam Mittal told the entrepreneur that his product i.e Wheelchair is a bit costly and that if the price had been lower, he would have been honored with the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award.
Anupam, along with another Shark, Namita Thapar, made them an offer of Rs 50 lakh for 4 percent equity and Rs 50 lakh in debt; however, they backed out from the offer later. Even Peyush Bansal made an offer to the brand, but the entrepreneur didn’t budge and decided to stick to their valuation.
Anupam told them,
“Kyun dil chhota kar rahe ho.”
He went on to add,
“Aap aavishkar ko iss tarah se kyun nahi soch rahe ke isko Rs 25,000 mein kaise banau.”
Mittal further said,
“Agar aap ye Rs 25,000 mein bana dete ho naa, aapko business hi nahee, aapko Bharat Ratna milegaa.”

Later, Peyush Bansal offered them the deal on which they agreed upon and it was finalized.
