Lenskart founder Peyush Bansal was heard telling the pitcher,
You had come for Rs 50 lakhs. Aapko Rs 1 cr chahiye ya 2 cr chahiye, aap vo lelo aur aapki valuation pe (You take as much amount you want at the valuation you want).”
Aman said, “It has never happened before, people are giving you an open offer.”
Peyush further offers a blank cheque to the entrepreneur.
In another promo, an entrepreneur named Kalpit Patel introduced his brand of an electric car and left all sharks impressed.
Explaining and showcasing the ‘sharks’ how he aims at a revolution with his electric car, Kapil described his vehicle as an easy, everyday car. His ask was for Rs 1 crore in exchange for 1% equity. The pitcher who left Peyush intrigued further shared,
“I visited a lot of garages and I opened a lot of cars and saw what’s inside them.”
Interestingly, Kapil’s car could be operated from a mobile app without even sitting inside it. When Aman Gupta asked him if his product was cheaper than a CNG-run car, Kalpit said,
“Yes sir aath aane mein chalegi (It will function at 50 paise per kilometre).”
Sharks complimented Kapil and launched their offers. Where Namita offered Rs 70 lakh for 5% equity, Vineeta and Aman gave a joint offer. Their deal was Rs 70 lakh for 2.95% equity. Anupam Mittal on the other hand offered Rs 60 lakh for 1% equity. Which offer he accepted remains unknown to be seen in the episode.
