In the most recent episode of Shark Tank India 2, the judges once again had a quarrel. Amid some good pitches and some bad ones, the season is doing pretty well as fans have been praising the uniqueness of many pitchers from an 8-year-old entrepreneur to people working on important products like wheelchairs. However, several moments also saw the judges in the limelight while standing up for each other or the pitchers.
Recently Amit Jain, Anupam Mittal, and Namita Thapar found themselves in a serious situation as Anupam and Namita did not like the way Amit Jain spoke to two founders of haircare products.
Namita asked him not to be harsh with the founder, but he did not listen.
In the episode, Hinshra Manadath Habeeb and Yuba Mohammed Romin Aga pitched their haircare brand and asked for Rs 75 lakh for 2.5 percent equity.
The duo revealed that they have been operating their business while living in two different cities. However, judges did not look convinced with their business model. While Vineeta found their product too expensive, Namita also said she cannot invest in their brand. Amit Jain told them they are just wasting their time and added,
“Aap log timepass kar rahe hain (You are just wasting your time)” and their branding is “bekaar (not good).”
Despite being stopped by Namita Amit continued,
“I want to be harsh. Saath mein aao pehle, phir junoon aayega.”
Even after the entrepreneurs went out for a discussion Jain continued to say their product and business model wasn’t that good.

In the end, Aman offered Rs 75 lakhs for 10 percent equity and eventually took the offer. Aman Gupta later emphasized why he wanted to invest in their brand by saying,
“I didn’t have money when I started. I did consult businesses to fund my business and I did it for 3 to 4 years. Alag sheher mein bhi reh sakte ho.”
