As proof that love has no bounds, a Swedish lady recently eloped to India with a guy she met on the internet. The Swedish bride made the epic 6-plus-hour journey to wed her long-distance love.
Christen Liebert married Pawan Kumar, a native of Etah, Uttar Pradesh, whom she had met on Facebook before visiting India. A local school served as the venue for the couple’s Hindu wedding on Friday, as reported by ANI.

In 2012, Pawan Kumar contacted a lady on Facebook who said she had been to India. ANI said that the pair tied the knot in a local school on Friday according to Hindu traditions.
It was reported last week that a 19-year-old Pakistani lady was detained in Bengaluru on suspicion that she had entered India illegally to marry an Uttar Pradesh guy.
A lady identified as Iqra Jeevani travelled to India from Nepal in search of Mulayam Singh Yadav in the previous calendar year. She met her 25-year-old future husband, the security guard Yadav, via a dating app.
Police in Bengaluru reportedly apprehended her on suspicion that she was living under a fake identity.
