Well, something like that was witnessed again when Ranveer Singh recently surprised fans by attending the SIIMA 2022. South Indian International Movie Awards is a two-day event that was held in Bengaluru this year.
The ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actor attended the award function along with popular actors like Allu Arjun and Vijay Deverakonda on September 10. Rana Daggubati was the host for the evening.
The award distribution evening was dedicated to the performances of the Telugu and Kannada industries. KGF star Yash also made an appearance.
Ranveer Singh Mobbed by Fans
The unexpected entry of Bollywood star Ranveer Singh resulted in a mob-like situation on the red carpet as excited fans on the red carpet were keen to get a glimpse of the celebrity.
The enthusiastic and energetic actor greeted the media on the red carpet. Soon after that, a chaotic situation was created as fans were desperate to see Ranveer and take selfies with him.
Security personnel got stuck in between the humongous crowd. The red carpet was divided into a restricted camera section for the media, with a side completely dedicated to SIIMA and their team which caused immense space constraints.
The mob situation led to a fan accidentally hitting Ranveer Singh’s face.
Most Loved Hindi Actor in South Industry
At the event, Ranveer Singh received the Most Loved Hindi Actor in South Industry award on September 10. Some Bollywood names were also on there in the guest list which included Arjan Bajwa, Ranveer’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar leading lady Shalini Pandey, and Pooja Hegde.
Allu Arjun won the award for Best Actor in Telugu for Pushpa, the Best Actress went to Pooja for her role in the Akhil Akkineni starrer Most Eligible Bachelor.
On the work front,
Ranveer Singh will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus alongside Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez in the main lead. The actor also has Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, a love story with Alia Bhatt which also stars Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan in prominent roles.
