In case you are not aware of this, cuddling and hugging a cow is a thing now. Moreover, this is popular a trend in the west, according to the renowned platform BBC. According to experts, cuddling a cow is therapeutic, as it relieves your anxiety and stress. The new research is, however, not peer-reviewed or established science. For some people it works, like magic. For the rest others, it’s like carrying bad karma from your past lives.
Recently the Animal Welfare Board of India came up with a new thing that is now going viral on social media.
On 14th February, which is popularly celebrated as Valentine’s Day, All you got to do is go to the nearest pasture, or street and hug a bovine (cow, oxen, buffalo).
The ministry writes that Cow (mind the caps), is the backbone of India. And reversing the Cow is Vedic. As we all know, Vedic traditions are almost on the verge of extinction, the appeal reads.
Hence, with the ‘approval of competent authority’ by the direction of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying.
